krasi69,
I got your e-mail and it looks as though you got some great advice already, but there are a few things you need to be aware of in order to 'try' to make this work; there is no guarantee here.
1. The Carrier (the company that provides trunks to your system) has to support the ability for the system (MiVO-250) to send out the Calling Party Number (CPN)
-- In this case you are stating that your main number goes out regardless of what you put in there.
2. The MiVO-250 has to be configured to allow for your CPN to be sent out.
-- This may or may not have been configured, but I doesn't look to be; from what I read.
So, let's look at what you need to make this work on the MivO-250 and see if that fixes your problem.
If you have a PRI or ISDN Trunking that supports NI-2
Go to System > Devices and Feature Codes > CO Trunk Groups > 92xxx (typically starts at 92001):
If you have SIP
Go to System > Devices and Feature Codes > SIP Peers > SIP Trunk Groups > 92xxx (nothing is here by default) > Trunk Group Configuration:
Regardless of which on you have at this point they should look somewhat similar; depending on software version.
Anyway, the feature that you are looking for is Force Trunk Group Calling Party Name and Number and we want to make sure this is turned off.
If you want it to send out the Original Incoming Caller ID instead of your personal DID then you would need to make sure that Propagate Original Caller ID is set to Yes. Since this isn't what you are requesting make sure it is set to No. Also for this feature to work the Carrier has to support the use of Non-Native Caller-ID which means they would have to allow you to send out the CPN of a number you don't own; most don't like this.
Now that you have verified that you can go to your extension and make sure the following things are setup.
Go to System > Devices and Feature Codes > Phones > 298:
Set Calling Party Number to 6132782134 so that any call made out of your phone will send out that CPN.
Also, if you wanted to send out the Original Incoming Caller ID instead of your personal DID then you would need to make sure that this flag is set to yes on your phone: Propagate Original Caller ID on Transfer. Since this is not what you want you need to make sure this flag is set to No.
Go to System > Devices and Feature Codes > Phones > 298 > Flags > Propagate Original Caller ID on Transfer: No
Once you have verified all of these changes have been made then you can test it out.
IF it doesn't work then most likely the Carrier doesn't support OR isn't configured to support the MiVO-250 to send out its own CPN.
Thanks,
TE
