Mitel 5610 and 5000HX controller * tone not getting sent
« on: October 08, 2020, 04:25:05 PM »
Hello all.  I am working on a Mitel 5000HX and added a couple of 5610 cordless phones.  Was able to get everything registered and "working".  Issue I am having is when the user wants to access their voicemail, our system has a the 232 feature code and press the * key when the AA starts but the system never detects the * key was pressed.  The DECT base is set to RFC2833 signalling.

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Select the payload type value for the SIP Peer from DTMF Decoding Payload drop-down list.
The range of values is 96 - 127. The default value is 96.  This setting has to match what the dtmf payload is set for in the sip base station.  The dect 112 comes set at 112.

Thank you for the reply.  I think part of our bigger issue is we are still running v5.1.0.33 programming.  If I am reading it correctly, looks like DTMF Payload was a new feature in v6.
