MICC 9.0 IVR Port question?
« on: September 14, 2020, 10:27:33 AM »
I have a client that is using MICC 9.0.   They would like an option in IVR for customer to press digit to be transferred to an external 3rd party for credit card payments.  My question...if the person presses 1 and is transferred to the 3rd party for payment is the IVR port in use until the customer completes the transaction and disconnects? Any help appreciated

No, the port will only be active until it completes the transfer (if you set it to blind transfer),similar to a phone, it just hangs up on the call.

You can monitor this in Contact Centre Client if you want by setting a realtime monitor for the IVR ports, you will see when they are in use.
