There are 12 vm port licenses.
When they dial 2500 they get the message in the heading.
They are getting bombarded with calls. 400 in a 6 hours period.
First thought is the VM ports are busy, but....

When they dial in from the outside and hit the auto attendant, they can * out to get their messages.
If you can dial in and get the auto attendant, the ports have to be free.

What might I be missing here?

How many ports did you assign to the Voice Mail Application; hint: check timslots.

Delete 2500 and recreate it. Don't forget to create it as Voice Mail and not Auto Attendant or some other type of application.

There is nothing secretive about how the Voice Mail application works; if that is what you are wondering. Make sure to assign the correct Time Slot number for the amount of Ports you want it to use. Typically, most installations will use the first Time Slot and have all of their ports assigned to that one.

Once it is created and there are available time slots then the application will answer.

You can also monitor the ports via the SA&D interface to see what is going on.
