MiVB 10 & 5215/5212 Phones
« on: June 26, 2020, 07:25:47 AM »
Hi

I need a definitive answer as to whether MiVB 10 will allow 5215/5215 phones to boot up and work? We are currently running 9.1 and they still work as Mitel still allowed them too.

Thanks,

They are no longer supported... That is the official answer as of now. Migrate away from them as soon as possible if you plan on following the Mitel upgrade path. 5312 phones can be had refurbished for under $35/each or 6920 sets for under $80. The 52xx series was discontinued over 10 years ago, they should be replaced anyway.

Best you will get until MiVB 10 is released, which likely won't be for a while since 9.1 hasn't been out that long. You might get an answer in the fall at the earliest, but your Mitel rep or Mitel Sales Engineering might be able to give you a better "best guess" answer.
