New 5320 one-way audio
« on: May 22, 2020, 10:28:03 AM »
Happy Friday everyone! Hoping the folks here can help me sort out everyone's favorite issue: one-way audio.

I have a Mitel 250 system with several older InterTel desk phones and two 5320 IP phones at remote sites. Those 5320s work fine and have worked fine sine we got the system a couple years ago.

I'm adding another 5320 and running into a one-way audio problem. I've stepped through every configuration parameter I can find in Session Manager programming for that phone/extension/NAT Address Type, etc. I've tried the phone remotely and within my office on the same network as the phone system itself.

I place an outgoing call to my cell to test. I can talk on my cell and hear it on the 5320. But not the other way. If I talk into the 5320, I do not hear it on my cell.

Thoughts on where to look next? Thank you and very much appreciated.

OK, I'll wave the "I'm an idiot" flag.

Bad handset. I suppose that's what you get for buying used gear.
