Call Forwarding on 3300
« on: March 12, 2020, 07:55:34 PM »
Hi All, I am working on doing something very simple, yet, it's not working.
All I want to do is forward all calls to my cell phone when I leave the office.
We are using Mitel 6940 phones, I tap settings then call forwarding. I attempt to enter in my cell number to forward when no answer and I get an error. I looked through the mxe, but nothing stood out as to something needing to be enabled. What am I missing?

Have you checked COS? are you putting in the leading digit in the dial string? There are several things that need to be set for an inbound to outbound connection to take place

Turns out the forwarding to external was not enabled in the COS. Enabled that and all is well. Thank you!
