Mitel 5550 IP Console
« on: March 10, 2020, 05:10:54 PM »
Hello all,

We have a Mitel 5550 IP console phone. Whenever the PC goes to sleep the operator goes from operator present to operator absent. We cannot have the PC to not be on sleep mode as it is on the network and is managed by group policies. Is there any way that I can set the operator to be preset even if the PC goes to sleep?

You can do a local GPO over-ride for the sleep issues... Talk to their IT people, they will have to allow it. Otherwise, no, the console will go to absent when the PC sleeps, period.

Or use something like move mouse, it should keep the session active.
