Changing / Removing DND Tone
« on: December 26, 2019, 10:00:24 AM »
Hello,

We have several users that set DND when they go on vacation... however, when they are on DND and are called, the first thing that happens is an operator message that says "I'm sorry... NAME.... is currently on the phone" and then it goes to their voicemail.

Is there a way in the 3300 to remove that operator message so DND instead goes straight to voicemail?
Or maybe there is a better solution for how they should set their phone when going on vacation. Any tips are appreciated!

    Release level: 7.2 SP1
    Active software load: 13.2.1.25

Thank you.

The system treads DND as a busy condition and routed accordingly, the recording would be based on what the voicemail does with a busy treatment... In this case, we would need to know what voicemail system you have as their is likely a solution but the it vary significantly depending on if it is embedded voicemail, Nupoint (MiCollab voicemail), or something else.

I believe it's embedded voicemail in the 3300 PBX.

I would check the help file under messaging/embedded/greeting/mailbox greetings for options

I am sorry I am not the most familiar with the options yet in the 3300. Are you referring to Voice Mail > System Greetings? Having a hard time finding anything related to System Greetings on a DND
