Some of the hardware phones on our network are failing to register after a power outage unless we shut off the phone/switch port for what seems to be 2 hours. We use an asterix/freePBX (PBX version 16, Asterisk version 18) system. I suspect it is something to do with maximum AOR expiration as this was 7200 seconds (2 hours). We tried lowering the value on each extension at the site however after the latest power outage we had the same issue and we still had to have the phones off for 2 hours in order to get them to register again.
The network range is a private IP range and has been added to local networks. It traverses back to the phone server via our VPN. We have a mix of mitel 5330 and 5360 at the site.
I have performed TCP dump during the bootup of a registered phone and a non-registered phone. The error on the non-registered phone seems to be:

I have worked with Sangoma support on the issue but they were unable to determine any explanation or fix. They recommended we reach out to the manufacturer but I don't think they (now shoretel?) support the 5330/5360 any longer.
