Mitel 6873i Lost Configuration
« on: August 14, 2024, 02:31:30 PM »
We have a number of Mitel 6873i that we recently installed at a site. The POE switch that they were connected to lost power. When everything was powered back up, we had a couple of phones that had lost all of their configuration settings. IP information and password were retained, but call plans and screen settings were back to default. We have been able to somewhat replicate this issue in our test lab. Everything powered up, phones configured, communicating with the configuration server and downloading their new configs correctly. If we reboot the switch, we will have a phone that has lost its configuration information. We can repeat the process and we have a different phone lose it configuration. Oddly enough, if we just unplug the network cable from the phone and plug it back in, we have never had a phone lose it configuration. It only seems to happen on a switch reboot.

Switch - Cisco C1000
Phone - Mitel 6873i Phone Info 5.0.0.2039

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
