Save the voicemail from MiCollab
« on: July 19, 2019, 05:52:49 AM »
If the voicemail is sent to the PC MiCollab app, can it be saved as a file for later? (i.e. into their CRM system against the client).
I admit I've never used MiCollab so don't know how it works but a 3rd party set it up for our client.

The voicemail isn't sent to the MiCollab App.
The voicemail is stored in Nupoint.
Nupoint can be dialled into to listen to it.
The MiCollab Client can be used to dial into Nupoint to listen to it.
The voicemail can optionally be mailed to an email address.

Thanks for that.
I tried to setup voicemail to email but it wouldn't work and couldn't figure out why. The client is 2.5 hrs away so it was getting a bit "annoying" asking the client to "test again".

Turns out the client found some info in the MiCollab manual on how to save the voicemails as MP3 so he's done that and it works.

You need the "standard" and "Advanced" checkboxes ticked on the Nupoint tab.
You also need remote access.  :)

Oh, I need both Std AND Advanced. That'll be it I reckon.
I have remote access via their RDS Server but it's the physical testing that's a pain.
This client got left half finished by former employee and now we're stuck truck trying to figure out how the hell he's set things up (hence all my questions lately, Vince, you're a legend for helping me out so much).
