3300 CX II help

I have inherited a 3300 CX II controller and phones and need to reset the box unsure what the IP is and the username and password is there a way to hard reset it to a default.  please help

With no details at all your best hope would be to connect to the serial console. You can find the IP by either watching the boot process or running the bootChange command [but don't change anything, just keep pressing Enter]. You can also reset the password through the serial console, the method varies depending on what version it's running.

I would connect via the serial port using putty and default serial settings.

From there type swrevs to get the software version. If it's anything above 10.1.x.x there's a command that can reset your logins to default although a quick search of the forum tells me the admins have asked not to publish the method.

You can get IP info by typing: version.
