Off Node CRA
« on: July 01, 2019, 10:14:30 AM »
Hi,
How do you route a call to a CRA on another system?
The CRA number from the Off Node system is not recognised - ive done an Export / Import thinking this may be it still the same  :(

Specifically, how are you trying to send calls there? Can you dial it directly as an intercom call?

the local system can dial the CRA but not the off node one although it can dial extension numbers fine.

Telephone number pointed to a STAR that rings a local CRA in AM (works fine) but customer wants it to ring the phones at other site in PM and i cant get it to work!

It needs to be dialable... You likely have an extension conflict as this should show up after an Import/Export... Do a full Import/Export to the node in question then examine the system logs on both to see where the conflict is and rectify it so the extension of the CRA is dialable, then it will work.

Basically, the CRA isn't seen because it wasn't imported into the system so it "knows" what it is, likely due to an extension conflict. Just because the phones are dialable, doesn't mean everything is.

Customer can dial an extension between nodes but not a CRA  :(

The Off-Node CRA number can be entered directly in to a CRT but it cant be a destination within a STAR...........  >:( >:( >:(

Any ideas?

Assuming the STAR is on Node 1 and you want to route calls to a CRA on Node 2...

Create a new CRA on Node 1 that times out to the CRA on Node 2, and point the Node 1 STAR to that Node 1 CRA.
