DPNSS link loosing sync

Hi all,

I have a 3300 CX which breaks out to the PSTN via a DPNSS link to a Meridian Option11.
Every 2 hours the D channel goes down and obviously any calls in progress are dropped. I can see that the 3300 appears to be loosing sync but i do not know why, we have had Meridian engineers in to look at there kit and can not find the cause.
I have attached a copy of the logs below, this happens over and over again every 2 hours on the dot..........HELP !

  Someone who knows more about this may reply.  It looks like the Mitel is syncing to clock source 01 - which I think is set to PLID 1,1,1???  Who is supposed to be the master clock - Mitel or Meridian? 

  I'm probably way off on this one.....

So that we can see a little more detail on this, go to the command line and type the command "dts read <PLID OF CIRC> last 12".
Capture the text and upload it here.

This tells me you have a problem with the T-1 itself.

Now the "phase shifts" tells me that you might have the Mitel trying to clock off the Nortel and the Nortel clocking of the Mitel.  If this is happening then they can never *quite* get into sync and the link will eventually reset.   The Nortel is notorious for when the span drops to have to dial into it and reset it whereas the Mitel will recover without intervention. 

If clocking is set properly, look to replace your stratum clock.  I've seen this very recently on one of our systems and replacing the clock resolved the problem.

On the Nortel go into LD 60 and SSCK 0 and see what the clock source is set to it it the PSTN or the Mitel

WooHoo!  I was totally guessing and seem to have been on the same track that the experts are on.  Maybe I'll learn something about this stuff yet!
