issue with Mivoice office 250 DHCP Server
« on: March 27, 2019, 05:06:38 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I got a weird issue today with Mivoice office 250 working on release 6.0 SP1, The DHCP had enabled on it, also the Options 3, 34, 125, 128 and 129 were set.
The issue when I rebooted the system, the phones came up with a 43 gateway error, and the phones getting IP address from different IP scop (Data Scop).
I went to each phone individually and put a static IP address to get it to work.
The Mitel phone working on a version release 5.2.2.8.
Guys anyone got this kind of issue before?

A "43 Gateway Error" means the phones cannot access (ping) the gateway address they are getting in Option 3. You should be setting Options 3, 6, 43, 125, 128-130, the latter 1XX numbers being default. If you define a gateway, it must exist.

Since you are dangling it out there... Why not give us a bite and tell us what the fix was? :)

As you mentioned, the issue was with the network, the ping was blocked between the phone and the gateway. :-[ :-[
