Mitel AX 3300 - slow boot up / old flash cards
« on: March 09, 2019, 02:59:34 PM »
Good afternoon - anybody have ideas for Mitel AX Controller 3300 that when new only took 10-12 minutes to boot up, but after years of service now takes anywhere from 25-35 minutes to fully boot up ?
How often, if ever, should the flash cards be replaced?
I've not tried purging maintenance logs, would that help, if so, how to do it ?
Any other suggestions? (Scheduling daily/weekly automatic reboot scheedule?)

Thanks !

lol... Totally normal and nothing you can do. It is caused by software upgrades, added sets, user transient data, etc. We have some MXe units that are to be replaced in the next year that are supporting close to 1000 phones each, they take well over an hour to boot.

The fastest way to get one of these to boot is disconnect the ethernet cable... watch it boot via the serial port. Without 10's to hundreds of phones trying to connect, they boot much quicker but still take a while.
