ACD Agent Auto Answer

Anyone used this - we have set up but not really impressed - phone rings once and answers - are there any other options, such as an alert in the headset?

If you use the Mitel Headset designed for the 53xx phones, when the call rings the user hears a beep in the headset and simply presses a button on the headset to answer.

Also,  you can use Plantronics headsets that uses a lifter.   The phone rings, the user hears a beep in the headset, presses a button on the headset, a mechanical lifter picks up the handset and the call is answered.

Thanks for the info - I was after something a little different.

The request we have had is to provide silent call notification with auto answer.  They would like a notification in the headset such as "bing - incoming call" then automatically connected to the caller.
