MiVOICE BUSINESS AND 5000 - IP-Dect with 5614 and 5604
« on: January 31, 2019, 09:18:06 AM »
I have a customer with a system running version 7.2.1.8 (planning to update to v9 soon), the end users are complaining that every now and then the phones fail to ring and on the display the have "no access" error message. Has anyone seen this before.
The problem is random, it can happen once a day to one phone and others are not impacted and it can also happen to multiple phones more than 1 time in a day.
On the switch side we no packets dropped, the base is not rebooting and in the eventlog we see no events related to this incidents.
The customer has mupltiple site with the same deployment where the IP-Dect bases are connected to an Aruba 2930M switche and all the sites are managed through the same MiVoice.
To recover the phone the have to reboot it.

Has anyone seen this before, what could be the reason (roaming, ntp)?
What could we try to troubleshoot from the phone point of view (power save, other settings, etc...)?
