I tried to upgrade my CX-II 3300 from version 8.0 SP3 PR1 to 9.0.0.184 using the migration tool version 9.0.0.39, I got a message that the version of MiVoice Business on my system is not supported for migration to MiVoice Business 9.0 ANY HELP ?!

Controller Information:
Release level: 8.0 SP3 PR1
Active software load: 14.0.3.22
Platform: CX-II
1024MB of RAM

Make sure your new software path is correct, that got me a couple times.

For example, if your software is in C:\MiVB_SW\9.0.0.184 you need to set the source directory to C:\MiVB_SW (NOT the folder with 9.0.0.184) and you must maintain the directory structure in the original Mitel archive.

Dear Acejavelin,

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately I didn’t get to that step to chose the course or software location. From the beginning after adding the controller IP and it’s credentials, after pressing next, I got the message mentioned above :(

How big is the hard drive? It needs to be 16 GB or larger.

Do you have your Windows firewall disabled?

No :(
Disable any firewall on your PC, and make sure you are connected via a direct routed network... By that I mean one that is not through a firewall, NAT router, or filter of any kind to the network connected to the 3300.

At this point you need to contact support then... Your version is fully supported for upgrade unless there is some other issue we don't see here.
