call path question
« on: November 09, 2010, 12:35:14 PM »
We have a user that does not want her extension to ring unless it is from her assistant or her assistant's assistant.  When someone calls her she wants it to go to the first assistant and is she is busy then go to the second assistant.  When either assisstant answers it and decides it is important enough they should then send the call to her on her main line.

Is it possible to forward all calls that come to a certain number but program an excpetions so that two particular extensions are not forwarded?

Thank you
Mark

The way to get this setup is the following. "Her" extension has a permanent CFA to a Huntgroup. The two assistants are both member of that group and the setup for that group is always ring the first member and if busy goto the second member. Setup the Call Forward override against the COS of the assistants and programm a button on there phone with the appropriate feature code. If they get a call that needs to be transferred they press the feature button followed by the DSS/BLF key of the "HER".
