Force SSL Randomization
« on: October 25, 2018, 11:23:47 AM »
I have a node that isn't syncing SDS with some (but not all) other nodes. It seems to be related to the following error in the logs:

MSTCPPostErrStack: MiSocketTCPImpl:: (SSL_ERROR_SSL) (error:24064064:random number generator:SSLEAY_RAND_BYTES:PRNG not seeded)

Is there any way I can force the randomization to re-seed without a reboot?

I went in to the remote nodes that my main node was not syncing with. For each remote node I went to Voice Network > Network Elements and selected "change" for the main node. Without changing anything I clicked "save" and that forced them to re-negotiate. The SDS info synced and the error cleared.
