Forwarding extension to a menu tree mailbox
« on: October 05, 2018, 10:26:26 AM »
HI,

I'm trying to forward extension 333 on Busy/no answer to a menu tree voicemail box. I created a phantom extension 444 with menu tree mailbox and forwarded extension 333 to it. but when I call extension 333 now I still get 333 voicemail not the menu tree for phantom extension 444.

I know in case of forwarding and when there is no answer on the forwarded-to extension the original extension's voicemail picks up. any tips for getting the menu tree to pick up, in this case,  for This SX200 MX system? I was able to do it on the 3300 by using NameTag hunt group but I dont think this is an option on the SX200.

Thanks.

I thinl you will need to run this through an acd path to break the integration, queue to the path for a second then interflow to a phantom extension *444 that is forwarded always to vm hunt group
