Public Operator when dialing Zero
« on: October 25, 2010, 12:33:55 PM »
Hi,

Just wondering how one goes about getting a real\public operator through the phone switch?  When I dial 9 then 0, nothing happens.  Where does one go to see the dialing instructions for this?

Thanks.

Dialing 9+0 requires some specific programming and may conflict with international calling.  i.e. "9011+"

Try this:  dial "90#"   if you get a fast busy then you're not programmed to dial an external operator.
If you do get an operator then that's going to have to be the way you'll get them.
It may also be possible to reprogram for "900"   I'm not really recommending that due to security issues: [link expired]
