Disable recall for parked calls
« on: September 18, 2018, 02:45:56 PM »
Hello!  Glad to join everyone on here!  I have a mix of Mitel phones connected to our MiVoice 250.  In IT, I have 5 5360s, which after the recall timer expires, will recall our phones, even though it was someone on a 5330 that parked the call.  I don't see anything obvious in the DB Programming, but maybe I'm missing something?

Thanks!
Jim

Call Park isn't native to this system. Are the calls parked on a station or hunt group?

Calls get parked on a Phantom (1700) which I assume would be a station?  I then have a keymap to show 1700 on all phones.

Then it will be the Recall destination or Attendant for 1700.

Thanks for the additional information!  Unfortunately it looks like Transfer Recall Destination is set to 1700 as it should be?  And Attendant is set to none.  Thanks

That Recall destination is correct. Is the button for 1700 a Park key or DSS key?

It was set as a secondary extension key.  I set it to a Park/Pickup key, is this what it should be?

Yes!

You now park and retrieve calls simply by pressing that button, and calls will recall to the person who originally parked the call.

The Park Recall Timer can be adjusted, default is 180 seconds.
