Mitel 5000 PRI to Analog port for faxing
« on: September 17, 2018, 04:38:33 PM »
I have a client that just switched to a PRI from analog lines. When they did this, they lost their analog lines so now they can not fax right now.
Is there a way to forward an incoming call from the PRI to one of the LSM ports on the Mitel and attach a fax machine to it?

Thanks

You can fax over PRI. The switch shouldn't be the issue as long as the fax number moved over to the PRI.

Program the Call Routing Table and cross-connect an analog station port, not LSM port.

Sirios34,

Don't forget to make it a house phone since the fax machine was tied to a POTS line before.

Thanks,

TE

Thanks for all your help, I got it to work. Moved it from the LSM port to an analog station port like DND ON suggested. Thanks again.
