Voicemail not alerting
« on: September 17, 2018, 12:13:25 PM »
Has anybody has any problems with their phones. We are using 5235s and 5360s. Phone server is a 3300 MXeIII, voicemail server is NuPoint. Occasional with some users their phone will not alert when there is a voicemail. When they check their voicemail there will be new messages. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem?

I've had this before.  Under MCD system options there is a timer that can delete MWI after 24 hours if enabled?

SUPERSET Callback Message Cancel Timer

Enter the length of time from 1 to 255 hours that a callback message stays on a telephone's LCD display. Leave the field blank to stop the message from being canceled.
NOTE: If MiVoice Business is connected to the Speech Server Unified Messaging application or the Messaging Server application through an IP integration, set this field to blank. Otherwise, the Message Waiting Indication (MWI) lamp for the connected phones will be turned off when the timer expires (24 hours by default).
