Off hook not answering inbound call

No programming has been changed but today the receptionist's 8528 digital phone attached to a 5000 HX does not pick up an inbound call when she lifts the phone's receiver. She has to press the Call 1 button.

We swapped another 8528 phone to her desk and that phone picks up inbound calls on off hook just fine.

Anyone seen this or have a suggestion?

LOL, yes, I just had this issue a few minutes ago with a customer over the phone.

The default feature code is 360 if they can't answer external calls and 361 if they can't answer IC calls. If your feature codes are not default then look for the following in the feature code list.

Her phone has the same standard keymap group 2 and alternate default keymap group as the phone that works!

Sorry... you can tell I'm new to Mitel, but I inherited this.

The user on her phone has to type in 360, and doesn't have to lift the receiver when she types it, is that correct?

Wow. I had the user press the infinity button (special), type 360. I hang up, call her back and the auto answer works!

Holy cow. How did that default get unset?
