5320 incoming call issue
« on: July 18, 2018, 05:03:31 AM »
On a couple of handsets, when a call is incoming, the incoming calls username is displayed and the user has to press the button to pickup the call after picking up the handset. Any ideas how to resolve this so that the call goes through as normal when the handset is picked up? I cant see what i am missing here.

Are you able confirm the system type?

Is it the bottom key (prime line) that you have to press to answer the call or is it another key?

The only thing I can think is if the phone is in headset mode.

Either program a headset key or you can see if it's active by LOCATE FEATURE EXT XXXX (where XXXX is the extension is question)
Also compare COS for the extension with one that works.
