Call forwarding and groups
« on: July 02, 2018, 05:03:08 AM »
Hello,

Let me explain what i want to accomplish.
I've got 6 numbers which can or should not be called from external numbers, but they should be able to be called internal.
Now I've setup a group which recieves the phonecalls of those 6 numbers but they cannot forward the call back because it fallsbacks to the groupnumber.

I've read something about secritarial calls but cannot find much about how to set this up.

Can somebody put me in the right direction for this problem.

In Class of Service Options you can set those six phones with their own Class of Service to include Non DID Extension and they will not be able to receive calls from the outside but still be dialable internally.

Have you created member extensions out of you external range?  When you say forward the call back, can you clarify what you mean? Do you mean a call re-route alternative or that a member of the group has answerred the call and can't transfer it to another member of the group?

Cheers

If you need to have the phone dial a particular external number you could set it up as a Speed Call and override Toll.
