Multical on Hot desk ACD agents
« on: June 07, 2018, 12:45:02 AM »
I am trying to put a multical key on hot desk ACD agents but the system will not let me. How can I give the users the ability to have multiple call paths?  For instance, an agent wants to put a call on hold and call another extension or outside call. How can I do this without multicall buttons?

Shouldn't be a problem, but I can't remember if I use a multiline key or a single line key. Try both.
I guess maybe you're trying to give them a 2nd line appearance of their ACD number. Give them a different number for a 2nd line.

I'm pretty sure that an ACD agent has to be a single line.

Ralph is correct. An ACD agent must be a single line extension. We put a "dummy" number on key 2 for the agent to use while on an ACD call. Usually the extension number with a * or #, i.e. 1#34 or 1*34 for extension 1234.
