Managing ACD skill group members
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:24:29 AM »
Hi there! First time poster here.

I'll jump straight to it. In the MiVoice Business gui under Users and Devices > ACD > ACD Agent Skill Groups we have about fifty groups, each with about fifty skill group members (Agents). A member or multiple members can be added to a group, but I cannot find a way to add/remove a member to several groups in one action - it is performed painstakingly one at a time. For example, if we hire someone new, we add them to about fifty groups one-at-a-time, and the same goes for a termination where the member is removed from each group manually.

Anyone familiar with this process? Is there perhaps a terminal command to look at an agent's memberships and strip them all at once?

Thanks!
Brandon

You should be able to export the form and then modify and import to add members quickly.

Don't think you can remove members using this method though.

Yes, adding or removing a group of agents from a group of queues is painstaking.

Surprised they still didn't implement any way to automate this. I sometimes have to remove agents from more than 30 groups, it's an amazingly slow process.
