Are you talking about in the 6900 configuration programming in the Office Application Server Programming,  or on the Phone Manager Desktop Client on one of the programmable Buttons?

What did you make the button proramming in the MCS?

I have tried BLF Extension, Speed Dial Transfer, and Speed Dial Conference.  None of them worked when programming the field as 2500+

TE,

Did the + after xfer to VM and that did not work? Also Heads up you do  not have system hold, you have only individual hold !

Vicbob,

What version of the MCS are you running? I know that we had to get 5.1.9 for the site we did. You will need to call Mitel/Xarios to get the latest version.

Thanks,

TE

We're still new to the 6900 phones and are working through some of these issues ourselves.

Just for anybody who might still be wondering, or who might be new to the Office 250 and the 6900 phones, the instructions Tech Electronics gave do work.

We set up a Voicemail DSS key that points to 2500 so that when you have a caller you can press Xfer, the VM DSS key, dial the mailbox No. and immediately press goodbye button or hang up.

If you press the goodbye key immediately, the caller will hear most, if not all of the users greeting. Still, that is dependant on how quickly the system is able to route the call.

Hope that helps any newbies to the system.

New software cleaned things up and now that is a dedicated XFER to Vmail Key that can be programmed.   Press it and the screen prompts you to enter a Mbox #.
