Invalid MiCollab Client Service Address
« on: April 30, 2018, 12:35:10 PM »
Hello,
I've now ran into an issue while upgrading user's MiCollab clients on Windows desktops. We recently upgraded to 7.3.0.303 ( I know we are a few versions behind) and for some users after the upgrade is complete on their desktop they get the error Invalid MiCollab Client Service Address. I look in the UCA.exe.config file and under YASettings "WebServicesHost" value is blank and "TelephonyServerIP" value is blank. I can easily add my server address back and get the client working but this is going to upset my desktop admin as there are potentially 300+ users with the issue. Does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a proper fix for the issue?

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to share my solution for those that find this (top listed link in Google)

My fix was to push out the config file using group policy. This works very well.
