Adding keymap assignment to phone
« on: March 16, 2018, 12:12:15 PM »
Hello,

I am trying to add a pkm keymap to an existing phone. We have MiVoice Office 250 DB programming. I should be able to right click and add a keymap, but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thank you.

JasonPetty,

So, you are at the following: System > Phone-Related Information > Key Assignments > DSS/PKM

You perform a right-click on the right-hand side of the screen in an open gray area? You do not see the [Add To DSS/PKM List...] popup?

The only thing I can think of is that you already have 20 of them and it won't allow you to add any more unless you want to push your system and add it via On-Line Monitor; which I don't suggest.

Thanks,

TE

I am assuming you are adding a pkm12 or 48 to the phone.
Go to system/Phone-Related Information/Key Assignments/DSS PKM and either create a new PKM and program it as normal.
Then go to System/Device and Feature Codes/Phones/[ext]/keymaps and put which pkmkeymap group you just made.

I am trying to add the PKM keymap  to a specific phone. Under system>devices and feature codes>phones then going into the phone I want to add the keymap to under keymaps.

PKM group should be on the right side. Just left click on the number and select the one you want to use.

Or send a screenshot of what you are looking at

I understand your confusion.

Which version of the software are you using?

Very strange.
Do you have admin access?
If you do then it looks like time to call Mitel

JasonPetty,

Did you change your Attached Devices from None to PKM?

Thanks,

TE

JasonPetty,

You can change that under the phone you want to attach the DSS/PKM to.

System > Devices and Feature Codes > Phones > Extension > Attached Device

You will find this under Emergency Dialing Preference.

Thanks,

TE
