Grandstream HT801 ATA
« on: March 09, 2018, 11:03:55 AM »
I have a Grandstream HT801 ATA on a VMiVB with 8.0SP1.   I am using it for an analog fax machine and it works for a couple of pages but larger faxes fail.  I am expecting a 14 page fax and it keeps failing.

Does anyone have a config guide to set this up on a Mitel.  Thanks

On any installs that we did for the last 12 years we always ordered a tradition analog line from the local dial tone provider to give reliable service to such devices as fax , modems , some copy machines , conf room phones , ect . It solved a lot of future service calls .

Welcome to the world of faxing via SIP... or rather failing to fax... Honestly, on any Mitel platform we have never been able to get SIP based faxing to work consistently. Anytime you add "fax" and "SIP" together, you are asking for trouble unless you have the infrastructure intended to handle it.
