Mitel 3300 command to see all active phones?
« on: December 13, 2017, 06:42:17 AM »
Hi,

Is there a command that will tell me if a phone is registered and live to receive/make calls at all? We had originally 200DN's but over the several years this number has reduced dramatically. I just want to be able to capture what phones are still active on the system? Rather than a manual walk around the office counting them!

Thanks very much in advance

Antony

You could just export the "IP Telephony Inventory" form to tell you what phones are in service.

Try "Stat 1"
It will show you the state of all your devices.
(Out of Service, Idle, or busy)

Programmed IP phones form will do the same for IP phones and I think there is a command in the same place for all phones.

If you export your "Users and Devices" form, you will get a full list of all your devices with MAC addresses.

You can then use a switchport-mapping tool (I use Solarwinds) to get a full list of all the MAC addresses on your network.

Matching these two lists will allow you to confirm exactly which devices are still live, and also tell you where they are (assuming you have a floor plan with data port IDs marked on it).
