Voicemail for HotDesk Users...
« on: December 11, 2017, 08:55:35 AM »
Hi all,

I've got Voicemail set up and working for HotDesk users (and everyone else) on RTNR & BUSY in Call Rerouting 1st Alternative.

However, when a HotDesk user logs off and their extn number is rang, it doesn't go to Voicemail at all - just get busy tone (or is it NU, will have to check ?)

I've read on the forums that a logged off HotDesk user is treated as busy - is that correct? If so, why don't I get voicemail ?

Thanks in advance for any ideas !

Kind Regs,
Rob.

Just to be clear - on your "Call re-routing First Alternatives" form, you have a "First Alternative Number" that has the word "This" against it 8 times, then a directory number which is your VM hunt group number?

Hi Vince,

Thanks for taking the time to reply, yes I had all that checked !

It turns out that this was a config issue, the user had a call Forward No Answer Internal & External to a number which was giving busy !

Not sure why it would follow that, but deleted it and it worked !

Thanks again - it got me checking config from scratch...
Rob.
