database unavailable, use SDS to restore?
« on: October 05, 2017, 03:30:11 PM »
I have a vMCD 8.0 with 16 clustered CXii 8.0 controllers.  All of the IP phones register to the vMCD.  During my upgrades, I lost 2 of the CXii databases and don't have backups.  Can I "push" the database from the vMCD using share/sync and what is the process?

SDS synch will only restore shared data. Most clustered networks use as much shared data as possible, but there are some non-sharable forms that are important. Look at "SDS Form Sharing" on the vMCD and it will tell you what forms, and what data in those forms, is being shared. The rest you'll have to re-program manually.
