Using UPiQ ports
« on: September 12, 2017, 06:55:58 AM »
Hi, Just purchased a handful of UPiQ ports for testing but have been unsuccessful finding any guides / samples online. Anybody have any guides / documentation on how-to use would be greatly appreciated :) TIA

I haven't done this in ages but the setup has changed from one version to the next. Basically you conifgure it the same as an IVR port but you select UPIQ - under extensions.

Once you have created your ports you need to assign a UPIQ type call flow (this part is vague, I'd have to go back to my setup) to each queue. When UPIQ is meant to be played it will "grab" a port do deliver the message and release it back.

I hope this helps, else I will have to look at my lab system like I said

all sorted thank you. I downloaded the default UPIQ Workflow and Subroutines and from those it was simple to add the relevant queues and assign the subroutine. Thanks.
