Press Line Key to Answer on Non Ringing Station

Feel silly even asking this, but one of my techs is telling me this can't be done.

Square system with 8528 Digital Phones where each phone has all 6 line appearances.  3 of the 7 phones are set to ring on all incoming calls, but client would like to be able to answer incoming calls on Non Ringing Phones, by pressing the Line Key, instead of 4+EXT of a ringing phones.

We rarely set up square systems,  and more often than not use Pooled Line Keys and Parks.
   
Any help would be appreciated.

We have the same requirement and at the minute have 4201 programmed as a local speed dial on each device.

However - and somebody might be able to confirm this for me too - it looks like 6.2 includes this feature? We are updating to 6.2 this week - but from the release notes:

The MiVoice Office 250 Release 6.2 introduces a new phone key type, Park/Pick-up in the dropdown list in Keymap programming. A new timer, Park Recall is also added for calls parked with Park/Pickup Key.
The default value for the Park/Pickup Key is 180 seconds and the valid Range is 30-600 seconds.

The user can configure Park/Pickup Key for the following entities:

• Phone keymaps
• Programmable keys for a phone
• PKM modules

This new key type can be used to:

• Park calls
• Pickup calls parked by you, or call parked by another phone using an appearance of the same key.
• Pickup Group calls with the press of one button.
• Provide a visual indication of calls that can be picked up.

Which looks promising.

Pick Up Key for the Hunt Group works.  We actually placed this programming on the Special Key, as it will never be used by this client.

As of version 6.2 there is now a Hunt Group pickup/park feature that will all you to program the keyset to have a key of the Hunt Group to answer the call with a single button press. Otherwise you can use the tried and true method of a station speed dial key programmed to dial 4+HG to pickup the call.

Grant Answer Access to all phones, now anyone can answer by pressing the line key.

Doesn't anyone read the manual any more?
