hold postions
« on: July 22, 2013, 12:49:43 PM »
i have a customer that is getting a mitel 5000 and they have several people answer calls. The call is going to come into a hunt group ring on 1710 then go to an extension list with 1712 and 1711 in it. if 1710 answers the call she wants to be able to put the person on hold and have someone at ext 1711 or 1712 be able to see there is someone on hold and take the call.
1710 and 1712 are 5340 with pkm
1711 is a 5330 no pkm

i figured it out.
create a phantom for each parked number you want. on the sets you want to use it or see it create a secondary ext for each phantom and put the phantom ext on it. when you get a call and want to "park it" press transfer to hold and dial the ext or press the secondary ext and hang up. to retrive the call pick up the handset and press the flashing key or do a reverse transfer and ext.
