Good day,
My customer is running version 5.0 and had a power surge of some kind.
Now there system is stuck in "pre boot"
I suspect it is their CF, as I tried it in another system and it performed the same way.

They do not have any backup or SWA.

Does anyone have any brilliant ideas how to get this CF to load?

Is there another option other than getting a new CF and SWA to get them online? I have other CF, but it shows 6.3 on the envelope.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

So to confirm the path

CO trunk group (or SIP) goes to CRT. CRT goes to that user.
Is this night or day difference?

Does the User have something strange in their twinning or secondary extensions?

Are their multiple call forward paths?
Does one of the call forward path have DND and Fwd Call type- Call Routing Table and CO-Ring in turned off?

Good day,
I have a customer running MiVoice_Office_250_6_3_SP_7_GA

A few times recently the phone all stopped connecting to the HX. This was resolved with a restart.
I have one or two other systems that have done similar and resolved with re-starting the dchp server.

The phones show the standard startup sequence (connecting to server, etc) when this happens.

Good day,
My customer has been using the 250 for about 7 years and (as expected) started to get TLS issues with Edge/Chrome.

So now we upgraded to software 6.3.136

They can log into admin and customer configurator accounts but the user accounts are quite flaky or don't work at all.

I recently created some new hotdesk users to test and it gives me a username and password error.

Any ideas what has changed that would be causing these issues?

I am working on a 6.1 system adding a couple users.

It doesn't give me the option to paste the extension after I copy it.

Any ideas why this stopped working or how to fix it?

I am using Windows 10

my customer has been rebuilding their infrastucture and switching from HP switches to Meraki switches.

    Release level: 8.0 SP2
    Active software load: 14.0.2.26
    Inactive software load: 13.1.0.36
    System relink: No relink has been applied.
    Call Control relink: No relink has been applied.
    Platform: MXe
    512MB of RAM

If we plug a phone into the meraki switch it does not connect. But if we move that phone to the existing HP switches it connects immediately.
This is what the dhcp options are configured to and the IT guy tells me that is how the meraki is configured t match.

For future searchers

After a bunch of troubleshooting the Sonicwall seems to have been the issue. The IT guy changed a bunch of the rules and eventually ended up locking out his remote access.
I left site and the IT headed to site and worked on the network for a few more hours.
Then all was resolved. I do not know what the solution is specifically.

This is what Babytel sent back to me afterI sent them a few traces.

Hi David,

The case has been escalated with the examples and the traces to our engineer. Here is his analysis:
The problem is on the Mitel-5000.it sent RTP packets from a port not indicated in the SDP (INVITE). For this, Mitel must send early media to find out.
babyTEL send RTP to declare the port in SDP (INVITE) . After 2 seconds if not receiving any RTP packet from Mitel-5000( in this case, we lost the ring back)
When receiving RTP packets from Mitel-5000,babyTEL send RTP packets to the exact port.

You need to check with Mitel-5000 how to correct this issue.

I need a new fan for an MXeIII. and the techdata folks just told us those parts are not on their inventory. Does anyone know where to get these from now?

Are you using the username admin?
Are you onsite or trying to connect remotely?

If you ignore that message and press the Launch DB programming does it load anything or give another error?
If it crashes immediately then go into your add/remove programs and find Microsoft Access. Then repair it.

Some recent microsoft updates have been playing havack with those things

I am working on a Call processing version: 6.3.6.21 with a Babytel SIP trunk.

When they are making an outbound call it has no ringing audio until the other person picks up the call. Internal calls are working properly.


I spoke to the provider and was told we needed to turn on NAT constant. So that is done now but it did not make any change.

I am seeing messages below and am wondering if there is a reason for that. I would have expected to get a RINGING.
