IP Trunk Not Established
« on: June 10, 2016, 08:10:17 PM »
Dear Mitel friends,

I have two Mitel Cxi connect to each other through ip trunk on different subnet.
When login into the pbx (A) i can ping the ip address of the other mitel pbx (B), but when i do State Xnet All i can see that the ip trunk is not established.

Can someone help me out with this one ? Maybe some ports that need to be open ?

Thanks in advanced.

Gimitel

Usually when this happens to me it's because I've screwed up the IP addresses in the XNET programming.
Done that a few times.
Start there.  Sometimes it's easy to overlook the error.

Have you tried placing a call across the trunk? Quite often if the trunk doesn't come up by itself then the first call that hits it causes to establish. The call will quite often fail, but then subsequent ones will go through.
Other than that, like Ralph said make sure that you have the IP address set in the XNET form.
Also one that can stop it from working is if you have anything ISDN related in the XNET form as well as the IP address then the trunk won't establish either as they won't know what protocol to be using.
