Yeah, but when they forward it the cell phones rings about 30-40 seconds, when it's not forwarded they only want it to ring for 15 seconds... I thought there was a COS option that would basically ignore the Call Reroute programming if you had the phone forwarded? Am I crazy?
I don't think there is.
But...
Here's a hack for that:
Put the users phone in its own tenant.
Set it up so it has a different COS for day/night mode with different timers.
Forward phone to cell phone in night mode.
Have user put his phone/tenant in night mode when he wants it forwarded.
I'd only do this as a last option. It would be a lot of work and you can't offer it to everyone.
I'd have the user call his carrier and ask them to shorten the forwarding time then you can adjust your forwarding time accordingly.
You won't get 15 seconds but you will get it shorter.
After that I'd tell the user "That's just the way it is."
