Shutdown using Shell (Telnet)
« on: May 09, 2016, 07:16:58 AM »
Hello,

I'm from Spain so i'm going to try to explain me better than i can.

I have to SHUTDOWN the mitel by telnet commands and keep power off.

I have tried the next commands without success:

appShutdown (this restart my mitel)
shutdown (nothing)
Shutdown (show me 50 posible numbers to shutdown, but i don't need it)
Shutdown -h now (nothing)
Shutdown -H (nothing)

Well, from the GUI, i have tried the SHUTDOWN command and the result was success.
I saw the result of this command by telnet and i saw that the command executed was appShutdown typeOfReset: 3 while the typeOfReset from the telnet was typeOfReset: 0.

You can see the next image.

Please, i don't know what more can i do....

Thanks for read.

I don't know of a way to remotely power down a 3300 ICP controller. You have to either switch off the power supplies or unplug the AC power cable on the older units.
