Mitel 5000 using Softphones
« on: October 19, 2015, 09:21:31 AM »
I am wondering if anyone can help with a problem we have been experiencing. We have Softphones connected to our Mitel 5000 which are assigned to a Phone Extension List and are set as the member of a Hunt Group. When the softphones are on a call and another call comes in it disconnects the current call they are on and answers the new call. Has anyone had any experience of this or have an idea what could be causing this.

Thank you

What softphone are you using? Are these on the internal network or coming in from the public side, and how (MBG, port forwarding, etc)?

Phone Manager v4.2.8 has been released. Try upgrading to this, then raise a ticket with Mitel.

They have responded well to some tickets we have logged on this product.
