I have a director that wants a sales number blocked.  Is there a way to do that?

Blocked from sending call or receiving call?  Yes to both, but different methods.

Dan231,

Send all their calls to a Call Routing List that has its Call Routing Key set to Outside Party Number. Then go into the list and put in the 10 digit number that you want to block and send it wherever you want it to go. Normally I just create a CRA that just hangs up without saying anything.

Also you will need two other numbers that show up at the end of the list, after all the numbers you want to block.

+ <-- This means to accept any digits received so we want to send this to wherever calls would normally go to
E <-- This means to accept not receiving any digits and we want to send this to wherever calls would normally go to

In those two scenarios if the original CO Trunk Group had calls going t0 Call Routing Table 1 during the day then that is where we would send them.

Don't forget to do the same thing for Night as well, but use a different Call Routing Table so you can send it to the correct location for Night.

Thanks,

TE
