hi experts !
i m unable to access the controller through LAN port. I can acces it through the console & i mannually redifne the RTC IP addresses also like ie.g
VxWorks Settings
================
Prompt                Value
------                -----         ----
boot device           auto

processor number      0

host name             MITEL

file name            RTR.... SOMETHNG

inet on ethernet (e)   192.168.1.2:ffffff00

inet on backplane (b) <blank>

host inet (h)         <address>    192.168.1.46

gateway inet (g)      192.168.1.1

user (u)              ftp

ftp password (ftp)    ftp

flags (f)             0x0
target name (n)       <blank>

startup script (s)    <blank>

other (o)             motfcc

But when i connect my pc to the LAN Port of Controller using straight through & crossover cable one by one, i was even unable to ping the controller. I assing the pc on the same subnet with the defaullt gateway of 192.168.1.1 & ip addreess of 192.168.1.46.

Is i m mising some thing. How wil I m able to ping the controller & log in to the ESM of 3300 MXE.

I maybe wrong here but I dont think that you can use the VX Works boot info to define the IP address of the RTC because as the controller boots it will use the IP address assigned in the database. Watch the complete boot sequence and further in the sequence you should see when it loads the IP address from the database.
