Internal Caller ID display
« on: June 26, 2013, 05:13:26 PM »
3300 MCD 4.2

All 5330 sets.

I've banged my head on this for a few hours.
Here's the issue:
When I call internally from one set to another from a non-prime key to a second set's prime line, the ringing prime line shows the calling extensions prime line ringing.   At the very top of the set's display it shows the non-prime line ringing.

Example:
Set A: has ext 1111 (prime)  2222 (line 2)
Set B: has ext 5555 (prime) 6666 (line 2)

Set A calls 5555 from their line 2222
The prime line of of Set B shows the Prime line of set A calling (1111).
The top line of the phone, just above the dotted lines, shows "2222 Calling"

The customer has a second site where this works correctly.  Same software load.
I copied the COS of the good working phones to the site with the issue and it did not make a difference.

I can't see anything is the system options that would make a difference.

The only thing I can think of that may be different is that the phones that work as desired are hot desk phones where the phones with the issue are not.

Anyone have an idea?

Ralph

The top line of the display (not the button display but the very top line of the screen) should show the prime line of the set that is calling, not the key button the set is calling from.

The customer has two sites.  One is working correctly and the one where my contact is does not.
I did a stare and compare of the two COSs and matched them but it made no difference.
Did the same thing with the system options.

My office works correctly.
I'm baffled.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
My phone works correctly.
It works correctly if going over IP trunks.
The only diff I can think of is that my phone is a hot desk.
